The new web shop of Comazo is online!

After the store for the brand Protect was launched in the summer 2015, the store for the entire product range of the textile manufacturer from Albstadt-Tailfingen follows.

The brands Active, Black, Earth, Med and Platinum are represented in it.

Process of the project

The Drupal agency Berger Schmidt first analyzed the structure of the Ubercart shop, and, in continuous coordination with Comazo, implemented the new shop based on Drupal Commerce.

The concept creators re-structured the product categories and provided eComazo editors with elements to capture global product characteristics (collection, material, usage, certificate, etc.).

The developers programmed the filter- and search options, made customer-specific adjustments to the shopping cart and check-out process, and took care of the synchronization of the product inventory between the online shop and the inventory management software.

After the launch, the project was handed over to Comazo, including a compact manual. From here on Marketing and IT will coordinate the operation and expansion of the shop and train new employees.

Buyer Experience

A special highlight is the color selection-option on the product-teaser. The online shoppers come faster to the desired color and take the preselection to the product-detail-page. Bought!

Content Driven Commerce

Appropriate to the concept of Content-Driven-Commerce the shop-system was extended by a mightily layout tool.

With that the editors of eComazo are able to build and publish info-pages, microsites and landing pages.

Separate content types for the brands, stores and blog-posts complete the feature set of the e-commerc platform.

Launch and SEO

For the launch of the new shop Comazo wants to pick up its visitors on the start page accordingly. Thanks to the layout tool, a targeted approach to any occasion is possible, including the introduction of new collections, holidays or discount promotions.

The addresses (URLs) of the products and product overviews that are already known on the web are forwarded to the new addresses as it belongs to a functioning SEO.
